I don't think it's such a great deal. I got the previous collections at the same price years ago and they had significantly more. All of the games (except for brand new releases) and hard copies of the documentation, and sometimes even more. King's Quest Collection in particular came with KQ1-7, Mixed-Up Mother Goose Deluxe, and Laura Bow 1 & 2. The new collections only have a tweaked DosBox executable, the DOS versions of some of the games. The original AGI games are missing from what I heard. And I don't think they even included MT-32 support with DosBox, which they could've easily done. Why not include the 800K size KQ1AGI takes in order to include that, or any of the other games? Why not include less popular titles that will never have their own collection, like Conquests or Laura Bow, and any other Sierra brand that didn't expand beyond two or three games.
There's a lot I would've done different if I were releasing these games. Vivendi did below the bare minimum and took a year too long to do it. These collections were rumored a year ago, and I seriously could've done the same job they did with just a few hours of free time.
